How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 45 minutes long.
What are the fees for the sessions?
We are contracted with most insurance companies which may require a copayment, co-insurance or deductible. These fees vary depending on your insurance plan.
Who attends the sessions?
Sessions are attended by the client and his or her therapist. Family members or friends may also be included, but only at the expressed consent of the client.
How often are the sessions?
Frequency of sessions is determined by you and your therapist, based on the nature and severity of the issue. Typically therapy starts with weekly sessions.
How long will the therapy course run?
The length of time a client is in therapy varies and is determined by the nature and severity of the issue, as well as the client’s progress.
Do I have to keep a credit card on file?
While it is not required to keep a credit card on file, we do ask all clients to provide a credit card. Because of COVID and all or most sessions being done virtually, it is difficult to collect copays and estimated deductible and/or co-insurance amounts at the time of service.
Do you contact my doctor?
We respect all HIPAA laws and we will only make contact with a doctor with explicit written direction from the client.
Are there any limits of confidentiality?
We respect all HIPAA laws. We are mandated reporters of abuse for the elderly, children and intellectually disabled.
