About Interface Counseling
Interface Counseling is a mental health practice serving New Milford and the surrounding communities for more than 40 years. Interface Counseling is committed to providing quality counseling and psychotherapy to people of all ages, including children, couples and families. The therapists work with clients using a variety of approaches on a wide spectrum of issues. They combine insights of the behavioral, social and cultural fields.
Our Therapists
Susan Ratner, LCSW
Susan Ratner, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with more than 40 years of experience. Susan treats a wide range of issues, including depression and anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, divorce trauma and geriatrics. She works with clients from young adults to the elderly.
Maureen O’Farrell, LCSW
Maureen O’Farrell, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Maureen works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with a wide range of mental health issues. She is experienced working with people on the Autism spectrum. With a background in fine art and design, Maureen often incorporates art as part of expressive therapy. Her practice modalities include CBT, DBT and TF-CBT, as well as Mindfulness (MBSR).
Julia McLean, LCSW
Julia McLean, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She provides both individual and couples therapy for adults, as well as individual therapy for children and adolescents who are facing both behavioral and emotional issues. Julia utilizes CBT, play therapy, problem solving technique and trauma focused therapy.
Patricia Robinson, LPC
Patti Robinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor experienced in dealing with anxiety, depression, domestic violence, co-dependency and trauma. Patti specializes in women’s issues and spiritual counseling, as well. Patti works with children, adolescents and adults using a variety of modalities including CBT, EMDR and Christian Counseling.
Jennifer Ralph, LPC
Jennifer Ralph, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who works with children, adolescents and adults. Jennifer uses both CBT and interpersonal approaches, as well as mindfulness to help those suffering from depression, anxiety and PTSD. She also has experience working with those recovering from substance abuse issues.
Rachel Lebetkin, LPC
Rachel Lebetkin is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She works with individuals, including children and teens, couples, and complex family systems. She specializes in working with individuals and families dealing with chronic illnesses (such as Type 1 Diabetes), and those dealing with substance abuse issues. Rachel utilizes many treatment modalities including Play Therapy, DBT, CBT and Client Centered Therapy.
Carol Berran
Carol Berran is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults who are experiencing behavioral, emotional and trauma issues. Carol also provides therapy for couples and families. Carol’s mission is to assist individuals, couples and families heal and grow using a strength-based approach tapping into the resilience already present. This offers a unique experience for you, your marriage and/or family. Working together we will identify areas you would like to be different and create a plan to get there.
